I built Eleganote because I wanted one place to think — not five apps.
I take handwritten notes, sketch diagrams, import PDFs for class, and record quick voice memos. Most tools did one thing well, but switching between them broke my flow. I also cared about privacy: I didn't want my notebooks sitting behind ads and trackers.
So Eleganote became a single workspace: natural ink, rich documents, PDF import & search, audio, and tools like rulers and lasso — with everything stored on your device by default. Optional Premium adds export and encrypted cloud backup when you actually need it.
One feature I'm especially proud of: Candle Reader — a reading mode with a movable warm light, great for reviewing notes or PDFs without lighting up the whole screen.
