EV Finder India helps you find the right electric car based on how you drive. Explore suitable EVs based on your budget, daily distance, driving patterns, expected real-world range, and usage needs. Built to help Indian car buyers discover, compare, and shortlist electric vehicles that fit their lifestyle and everyday driving requirements.
Hi Product Hunt! 👋 I'm Shivam, the maker of EV Finder India.
Tell us how you drive. We'll find your best electric car.
Most EV comparison sites start with a spec sheet. But when you're buying an electric car or scooter in India, the real questions are different: Will it cover my daily commute? Can I manage if I can't charge at home? What will it actually cost me per km?
So I built a tool that starts with you. Fill in one simple sentence (your daily distance, where you drive, your budget, home charging, and what matters most) and it ranks electric cars and scooters by how well they fit your needs, with a match score and the reasons behind it.
What it does
Ranks 88 Indian electric cars and scooters by match to your needs
Estimates realistic range (not just the claimed figure) and running cost per km
Flags cases where the range might fall short, or the model is upcoming
Lets you compare up to 3 vehicles side by side
What to know
It's a free tool, and it runs entirely in your browser.
Right now it uses a catalogue snapshot (from AllAboutEVs, with their permission) rather than live data, so prices and specs can vary by variant. I'm adding a live API soon.
Treat it as a smart shortlist, and confirm the exact variant before you buy.
I'd love your feedback:
Do the top results feel right for your situation?
What would you like to see next: EMI estimates, petrol vs EV savings, charging info?
Any EV models I'm missing?
Thanks for checking it out! 🙏
