I’m Niels, the developer of Ejectify.
I originally built Ejectify to solve a small but persistent Mac annoyance: external drives not being safely ejected when a Mac goes to sleep, followed by a pile of “Disk Not Ejected Properly” alerts after wake.
Instead of manually ejecting drives every time, Ejectify can automatically unmount selected volumes before sleep or display-off events, then mount them again after wake.
What started as a personal fix has now helped tens of thousands of Mac users, and Ejectify 2 is a major update focused on reliability and broader device support.
