Eidon is an "everything included" AI chat/agent platform, with the pieces that usually require stitching (web research, MCP, skills, browser, image generation and so on) already built in. One container that takes minutes to spin up instead of a main app plus pipelines, sidecars, and external tools. * **Chat**: Classic chat just like in ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude and so on except on your own server+BYOK * **Agents**: Grok-bot-style agents. * **Automations**: cron-style AI tasks.
Hey Product Hunt! Maker here 👋
I built Eidon because I was tired of two things: being locked into one AI model inside a closed app, and the self-hosted BYOK options I tried never quite syncing or feeling polished across all my devices.
Eidon is a self-hosted AI platform — chat, agents, and automations — in a single Docker image. Bring your own keys, and switch providers whenever you want without losing any of your data. Since it's your server and your keys, you can use cheap (or even free!) providers.
Setup takes a couple of minutes: run the container, add a key in Settings → Providers, start chatting.

Who hunted Eidon?
Eidon was hunted by Charles-Erick Tremblay. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
