Top comment

Hi Product Hunt! I put together EffectCraft Guide to make it easier to evaluate and get started with EffectCraft. The site brings together a beginner animation tutorial, guidance for finding the right official download, and a comparison with After Effects. I also wanted the limitations to be easy to find: EffectCraft is still in alpha, cannot open .aep projects, and does not run After Effects plug-ins. This is an independent guide, not the official EffectCraft website. If you work with motion graphics, I’d love to hear what you’d want to know before trying a new tool.

Who hunted EffectCraft Guide?

EffectCraft Guide was hunted by Shenmei Tu. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post.
