EduParty turns any video call into a shared arcade. A Host opens a free room, up to six players join with a 4-letter PIN, and everyone plays inside the same call. Three games are live: Stop (Categories), Quiz, and Taboo, with more on the way. No sign-ups, no downloads.

Hi Hunters! 👋 I'm a solo developer. I built EduParty because ESL teachers I know kept struggling to find interactive games for online classes that don't require students to sign up or sit through ads. It's a free real-time multiplayer portal built for video calls. A Host opens a room, up to six players join with a 4-letter PIN, and everyone plays inside the same call. Three games are live: Stop (Categories), Quiz, and Taboo. The stack is React 19, Vite, Tailwind, and Supabase for the real-time sync between players. Mobile performance mattered a lot here, since most of these sessions happen mid-class on whatever device is open. I'd love feedback on the real-time latency and the overall flow. Open two tabs — one as Host, one as Player — to see the sync in action. What would make this useful for your own classes?

Who hunted EduParty?

EduParty was hunted by Marcelo Tust. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
