Cannot believe it's launch day already! Hi PH! 👋 I am Annie Chopra, I run marketing for Edily, where we aim to create an app that makes learning easier and more efficient with short-form videos. As a Gen-Z, I often found myself scrolling on IG and TikTok a lot! I love learning new things and always found it easiest with short-videos. But, there was always the difficulty of finding the right video to get to the topic of interest. So many videos were hashtaged wrong or didn't have the correct information. That's why I am so excited to be part of Edily, because that's the problem it's solving. 💪 For Gen-Z learners like me, it's the place to be, without worrying about scrolling and wasting my time. Currently the entrepreneurship and financial literacy curriculums are live - both that I absolutely feel inclined to learning. MY favourite feature of the app is definitely the learning map, where you can find videos according to the exact topic. As someone who didn't go to college, this feels as close to a real class as possible! If you are the kind of person to go through wikipedia pages and keep diving deeper and deeper into a topic you will definitely love Edily. Truly, it's not just an app; it's a tool designed by a learner, making it user-friendly and efficient. Dive in and share your experience! 🗺️🤓 I really hope you get to check out Edily and love it as much as we have loved making it for you. Please share your feedback with us. I look forward to reading all your comments.

Hey PH community! 👋 I’m Jackson Foster, co-founder at Edily, a social video platform reimagining learning. Our journey began with a realization: existing online learning resources are boring, but social video platforms like TikTok or YouTube are not built for learning. The struggle to sift through extensive content or resist distracting "related" suggestions inspired the birth of Edily. I'm building the tool I wish I had as a master's student isolated from friends / professors and starting a new company during the pandemic. Edily is a platform that makes learning not only fun but productive as well. Edily has educational content for new or aspiring entrepreneurs 🚀, folks who want to become more financially literate 💰, and even an atom or two of science too! 🧪 For this community especially, we're dedicated to equipping entrepreneurs like you with concise, insightful videos covering every facet of building a business. And Edily isn't just about education; it's a community where like-minded individuals can connect, collaborate, and grow together. Join our new groups feature (launched this week!), introduce yourself, and ask questions of the community! Or even try your hand at uploading a video into one of our learning maps! Edily is completely FREE on both iOS and Android (shout out to all my Flutter devs out there)! We would love to hear your feedback and suggestions about what you want to see on Edily. Your feedback is incredibly valuable in shaping a unique learning experience and building a user-centric platform. Join us on this journey, and let’s build Edily together! 🎥 💪 😊 Cheers, Jackson Foster Co-Founder, Edily

Kudos for your work, this kind of application is what we needed, more education less distractions

Just wanted to drop a huge thank you to everyone who supported our launch! This was our first time on PH and the community was so helpful and enthusiastic :D

Sounds amazing can’t wait to get started! For me as a student who loves videos and education it’s a wonderful mix 🤩

I am a student! I just downloaded Edily and loved the entrepreneurship content. I love watching shark tank and YouTube videos but sometimes it's hard to find the exact skills to learn and I found that Edily makes that very easy. thank you for making the app and I look forward to testing it out more🤩

Learning should be fun. Edily is going to change the way we learn bringing fun to the study. Great product and look forward to exploring more! Congratulations guys (:

Awesome idea, if only they had this for products like Linkedin, Facebook and Instagram. Really need focused feeds more often

I've been creating long-form educational content on YouTube since 2016. I primarily focus on topics such as speed-learning, productivity, and how to live a healthier, wealthier, and happier life. When TikTok started growing rapidly in 2019/2020, initially I was slightly concerned because short-form content is focused primarily on entertainment content, as opposed to educational content. Moving into 2021 and 2022, my initial concern proved to be true. I love self-education and I love YouTube because as long as you have a device and WiFi, it gives free, almost unlimited education, worldwide. But short-form entertainment videos started eating into the marketshare of long-form educational videos. That's what Edily are helping to fix. And I love...LOVE...that they are. TikTok's algorithm is all about entertainment. Edily's content is all about education. Edily is a great platform for when you have a few minutes free, and you don't want to watch a long YouTube video, or waste time procrastinating on social media, you can quickly open Edily and learn about almost anything. From how to become a better entrepreneur, how to manage your money, how to be a better marketer - and everything in between. Edily is growing rapidly and I'm so glad that they are. They're having a massive net positive effect on the world. Here's to continued growth 🚀

@jackson_foster Congratulations on the launch! I'm all for converting my wasted time on TikTok into productive time acquiring new skills and knowledge :)

Downloaded Edily this morning. I'm a college student and I already found it super helpful for my chem class! Congrats on the launch!

Great job, and congrats on the launch! 🚀 Although I am not a GenZ, I learn far better with video than just text. So this is really appealing to me. - It's kind of like ZigaZoo but for GenZ and up, which I think is great! Would have loved to have seen an example of the content on the app here or on the website - just a tiny note for feedback.

This seems awesome! I wish I grew up with something like this to make learning fun :) How do you plan to source educational videos?
