Most home management is scattered across apps: one for expenses, another for pantry, and a third for chores. Economos brings money, pantry, and tasks into one unified home dashboard. No more jumping between a budgeting tool, a todo app, and your grocery notes. Your spending, stock, and chores actually connect: when pantry items run low, your shopping list is auto-generated, so you never forget what to buy or buy what you already have. Free, built for families and flatmates.
I'm Icaruk, the solo dev behind Economos. The app started as three separate frustrations:
1️⃣ First, I was tracking my monthly expenses in Excel. It worked... until it didn't. Too clunky, too slow, too much friction just to see where my money was going. So I built Money.
2️⃣ Then came the household tasks. I could never remember if it had been 7, 30, or 60 days since I last cleaned the filters, changed the sheets, or watered that one plant. And I was tired of coming home from work and thinking about what needed to be done. So I built another module: Tasks. Now the app just tells me what to do today.
3️⃣ Finally, the supermarket. I kept forgetting to buy things, wandering the same aisles three times because I either had no list or a completely disorganized one. So I built a third module: Pantry.
Three modules born from real daily annoyances. One app so I don't have to think about running my home, I just do what it tells me.
💵 It's completely free, pro features are on the roadmap.
I'd love your honest take on how these three work together. What would make this your daily go-to?
