I’m Chung, the maker of Econ Calendar.
I originally built it for myself. I wanted a fuss-free way to keep in touch with the market without spending lots of time monitoring it.
Because I used to work as a trader, my friends and family still ask me when the next Bank of England rate decision will be.
I looked around for something like this, but I couldn’t find anything that included just the information I wanted:
1. Major macro events
2. Earnings dates for companies I care about
I recently added a feature that monitors when a stock closes above its 52-week high or below its 52-week low. It then sets up a calendar event to review the position before the next trading session, which I think is pretty cool!
