We started building ECO AI because environmental compliance and ESG reporting are becoming increasingly important for businesses, while the process itself is still complex, fragmented, and heavily dependent on manual work.
Our goal is simple: use AI to make environmental requirements easier to understand, implement, and report on.
ECO AI combines AI-powered guidance, environmental knowledge, regulatory information, and reporting automation to help businesses work with ESG, sustainability, and environmental compliance requirements.
We are also developing ESG Copilot — an AI assistant designed to help companies navigate environmental and ESG requirements and reduce the amount of manual work involved in compliance and reporting.
Alongside our commercial products, we run a non-commercial initiative supporting Ukraine by publishing preliminary assessments of the environmental consequences of attacks based on publicly available information.
We’re still early and would really appreciate feedback from founders, sustainability teams, ESG professionals, consultants, and anyone dealing with environmental compliance.
What is the most difficult or time-consuming part of ESG or environmental reporting for your company today?
ESG reporting is one of those areas where being wrong has real consequences - auditors, regulators, sometimes fines. if the AI misclassifies an emissions source or mixes up a reporting standard, who's actually liable for that, you or the company that filed it? does a human always review before it goes into an official filing?
