EchoCare
Medication reminders for elderly parents & peace of mind
EchoCare helps elderly parents stay on top of their medications, and gives their adult children peace of mind. Simple daily reminders, dose tracking, and an "I Am OK" check-in - built by a solo founder in New Zealand after seeing how easily medication routines can slip for aging parents, and how much worry that causes their families.
Hi everyone — I'm Jahnavi, solo founder of EchoCare, based in New Zealand.
I built this after seeing how easily medication routines can slip for elderly parents — a missed dose here, a forgotten refill there — and how much quiet worry that creates for their adult kids, even when everyone's trying their best.
EchoCare is simple on purpose: daily medication reminders, dose tracking, appointment reminders, and an "I Am OK" button so a parent can send a quick reassurance to family with one tap.
I have zero coding background. I built this myself with a lot of patience, research, and AI assistance — including a full security review before launch, because this handles real health data and I wasn't willing to cut corners there.
It's live now on Google Play (Android only for now). I'd love any honest feedback, questions, or things you think are missing — good or hard to hear, I want to hear it.

Who hunted EchoCare?
EchoCare was hunted by Jahnavi. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it.
