Save social media links, let AI read and understand the content—text, images, videos-then you can retrieve them with semantic search when you need (beyond just keywords from text).
It all started when I was trying to recall a video of a cute baby koala on X. I had saved it in my X bookmark, but couldn’t find it because the text didn’t mention "koala." Social media content relies more on visuals than words, and I realized how difficult it is to search for something purely based on text.
💡This got me thinking💡
Marketers and social media enthusiast often save tons of content and need to find it again quickly: we can imagine how frustrating it is.

Echo Memo sounds like a fantastic tool for anyone looking to maximize their social media presence! It's innovative to use AI to not only save but also understand and retrieve content with semantic search. This could be a real time-saver and a powerful way to stay organized and informed. The fact that it's highly upvoted indicates it's resonated well with users. For those interested in enhancing their social media strategy, this could be a must-try extension.
This is a great problem to solve! Perfect for somone like me however I'm now thinking how do I save it so I can easily find it later. 🤣
Why do we even need AI to understand content like text and images? People have been doing just fine reading and interpreting this stuff on their own for ages. It feels unnecessary — even a bit forced — to keep pushing AI features that no one really asked for.
It's a creative idea to let AI help memorize human social media content, will it never be forgotten?
I'm sure I'm not the only person who saves tweets to their bookmarks on X and never returns to them.
There is room for improvement in the X bookmark feature. Finding what I'm looking for can be somewhat challenging because there are thousands of postings saved. Echo Memo appears to be a viable remedy.
However, I would like to know how you intend to make money off of it. The program is completely free, but there are fees because it employs AI to analyze and store text, images, and videos. When everyone starts using it, how are you going to pay for those costs?
Regardless, congrats on the launch! I hope the best for you!
This is a really interesting take on link management! Semantic search based on AI understanding of the actual content (images, videos, and text) is a huge step up from just keyword-based retrieval. I can see this being incredibly useful for [mention a use case, e.g., researchers, content creators, etc.] who need to quickly find specific information across a large collection of social media links. Definitely going to give this a try!
to hear about your big vision! Keep us posted on your upcoming product launches!
AI that ‘understands’ videos? Mind blown. Does it support non-English content? I’d love to retrieve posts across languages without keyword limitations.
@sia_xxx Wow, this hits home! I’ve definitely lost great tweets or videos in my bookmarks because the text didn’t match what I remembered visually. Echo Memo feels like the perfect sidekick for anyone who saves content but never finds it again 😅. Love the multimodal AI angle—being able to search by idea or visual memory instead of just keywords is a total game changer for social-first minds. Can't wait to give this a spin!
Congrats @luobaishun ! The most impressive part is the multi-modal capability.
Just curious:
1) Are texts / images / videos from bookmarks stored into your database?
2) Is there a latency between saving the bookmark to actually being able to use semantic search on it given processing time?
This is such a neat idea! Searching through social media bookmarks based only on text can definitely be a challenge. I love how Echo Memo uses AI to go beyond traditional bookmarking and even works with images and videos. It could make a huge difference for anyone who saves tons of content for later use.
The semantic search feature is especially interesting, as it solves the exact problem of finding content even if the text doesn’t exactly match what you’re searching for. I can see this being super helpful for marketers and social media enthusiasts.
Excited to see how this tool evolves. I’ll definitely check it out!
I‘m working on my product's marketing plans and i really appreciate that there's finally a cross platform bookmark! Looking forward to seeing support for even more platforms in the future!
It's really useful for me. I usually remember images not texts when I using social media. The information runs so fast so I indeed need a link management tool. Echo Memo is great.
