Hey Product Hunt 🤓 I’m Thomas. Reuben and I teamed up earlier this year to create Echo. Reuben’s a brilliant product manager with a software engineering background, and I’m a lawyer-turned-designer. Echo is a voice note-taking app that goes beyond capturing your thoughts — it actively helps you engage with them. ⭐ Why Echo exists Capturing notes is just the starting point. What’s truly valuable is a tool that transforms your scattered thoughts into something real. With Echo, you’re encouraged to think out loud and explore ideas freely, knowing that it will help you build, refine, and expand on them when you’re ready. ⭐ Why people love using Echo ✍️ For writers getting unstuck: Echo organizes jumbled ideas into polished drafts. Just talk through your thoughts, and see your voice transformed into structured text. 💡 For creative thinkers: Jot down half-formed ideas and let Echo spark new connections with prompts and suggestions to keep the inspiration flowing. 📚 For lifelong learners: Capture fleeting insights and revisit them with fresh context or questions. Echo’s design keeps your thoughts interconnected over time. 🚀 For anyone focused on personal growth: Echo is like a self-coaching companion. Track habits, reflect on patterns, and see how your mindset evolves. ⭐ What Echo can do right now: 1️⃣ Voice-to-text transcription — quickly capture ideas on the go. 2️⃣ Automatic organization by topic — build a structured record effortlessly. 3️⃣ One-click note refinement — transform rough thoughts into actionable plans. 4️⃣ Answer any question based on your notes — let Echo synthesize insights or provide deeper understanding. ⭐ Why it's special Echo isn’t just another note-taking app. It’s designed to help you turn the rough sketches of your mind into a cohesive map for achieving your goals — whether personal, professional, or creative. Try it out — Echo is free to use! We're excited to hear your feedback.

The Echo app is helpful and easy to use. I really like the user interface and its simplicity. The Echo version of my notes enhances my voice notes further, which is great!
Echo’s been an amazing way to capture inspiration whenever it strikes. I’m especially loving the Topics feature; feels like I’m staring at a second brain
Great stuff. Been using echo to take notes on techniques I learned in jiu jitsu class on my walk back home. I just talk into the app and it cleans and organizes everything automatically. The new topics feature is a great add.
I am an early user of Echo. As a founder, there are usually hundreds of things racing through my head at any given moment. I’ve started voice journaling using Echo and it has given me a great outlet to turn rambles into organized and clear structure to help convey my thoughts. Would highly recommend for any busy professional or founder!
The user interface is clean, but I think it could benefit from more visual elements.
The mobile-first approach is nice, but I’d love to see a desktop version as well. It would be easier to use for longer notes.
Congrats @rabraham on the launch!! Real cool stream of consciousness product. Having built a mobile app before, quick idea for you all: add a QR code to the home page. That way visitors on desktop can quickly download without having to juggle links or try searching on the app store (echo is a competitive keyword) :)
Great job on Echo's launch! A voice and text note-taking app with AI sounds really useful. Excited to see how it helps organize thoughts better.
Congrats the AI could improve its accuracy in recognizing different accents when transcribing. Otherwise it’s been a fantastic experience. @tomaofficer Great work.
congrats on the launch 🚀 I've downloaded the app and put the widget on my lock screen, I look forward to giving it a go! I think you're onto something here, I can't be trusted to capture or organise my thoughts, so I think lowering that friction and making the structuring passive is a great angle. It's only a shame that these can't be automatically added to Apple Notes, where I store everything else though I presume that isn't possible.
Congrats on the lunch.@tomaofficer can it categorize notes based on different themes or projects? It’d be amazing if users could tailor it to their unique workflows. Great job on this innovative app.
Does Echo offer any customization for how it organizes the notes? @tomaofficer Otherwise it’s been a fantastic experience. Great work.
Love the idea. I think Echo is highly practical. Have used similar apps before. not satisfied with the outcome.
Congratulations on the launch Thomas & Reuben! 🔥 Sounds great for those moments when I’m on the go and need to quickly jot down the spontaneous ideas that pop up. Love the fact that it actually sorts them as well by topics (my notes app is currently a mess)! Just downloaded it, excited to try it out!
