So honestly, building this came from a personal frustration. Whenever freelancers or contractors need to generate a W-9 for US clients, we have to type highly sensitive details (like SSN) into random websites that probably store it forever in their database. Not cool.
I wanted to fix this, so the main funda of EasyW9Form is 100% privacy. I built it so the whole PDF generation happens locally right in your browser. I used Next.js and pdf-lib to keep it entirely client-side. There is absolutely zero server-side storage of your form data. It doesn't even hit my database.
The flow is super simple: fill it -> sign it -> download it. No accounts needed.
Since a lot of u here are devs and freelancers, I would love some genuine feedback. Especially on the architecture, the UX, and if this privacy-first approach makes sense to you. Pls roast the app and let me know how I can improve it!
