Open it, type a line, hit Enter. That's the whole thing. EasyNotes never asks which folder, tag, or project a thought belongs to — the cursor's already waiting. Unlimited notes, pages, search across all of them, and honest sync that never claims more than it can prove.

Hey PH 👋 I built EasyNotes because every note app I tried made me decide something before it would let me write — which notebook, which tag, which project. By the time I'd chosen, I'd lost the thought. So it does one thing: open on a shortcut, cursor already in the line, type, Enter. Every line doubles as a todo. A few things I cared about getting right: • The notebook is genuinely unlimited — local storage is the source of truth, browser sync is a best-effort layer on top, never the bottleneck. • The sync status never overstates itself. It says "saved" until there's actual proof a second device received it, not just that the write succeeded. • Zero dependencies, no build step, no account, no tracking, no network requests at all. About 1,000 lines, readable in an afternoon. Live on Chrome and Edge now, Firefox coming soon. Genuinely still shaping this one — if you tried something like this before and it didn't stick, what made you stop using it?
