A company I had worked for had promised me a position to build up a fleet management portfolio along side their existing leasing portfolio. They decided to oursource and hire from another large company. Then the whole program fell apart. They pulled funding demoted the person they brought on.
Mean while I watched all of the errors they made. I asked every customer what they wanted in a platform. Which was similar between all of them. a lot of apps do 1 thing but not all of them. nothing speaks together and there is still manual input.
Then I got to building. I wanted Automation and guidance to take prescience in the fleet lifecycle.
Love that the driver PWA works offline. That’s a small detail that shows the team actually thought about real-world fleet operations where connectivity in remote regions is never guaranteed. Solid execution.
