EastShield is a downloadable offline tool for preparing selected text data before sharing it with an AI service. Extract the ZIP and open index.html in current Edge or Chrome. Review supported matches, export protected data plus a password-encrypted mapping, and restore unchanged placeholders locally. Keep the original files, mapping and password private. Supported inputs are UTF-8 CSV, JSON, TXT and logs, up to 5 MiB per redaction and 2,000 unique candidates. No PDF, Office or image support. Detection is assisted and requires manual review.
