I wanted to make a genuinely useful tool, and something that was addressing a real problem, in a rather niche problem: migration of databases across platform.
It took a lot of work to get here. I started a few months ago by releasing as open source (MIT license) the updated ANTLR4 grammars this product is built upon.
This product is a commercial one, and it is really cheap compared to the cost of the work it simplifies.
Our business model is not giving you a free tool that works so poorly that we have to sell you a consulting fee to fix its results, we tried really hard to give the best possible conversion we could, and we plan maintaining and improving this product even further.
Genuinely useful if you are stuck migrating legacy oracle code. Ran it on a few stored procedures and the bulk collection logic came through clean, way less grunt work than rewriting by hand. Curious how it handles really gnarly dynamic SQL though.
