I built EarnPT after noticing how much time I spend waiting for ChatGPT, Claude, and other AI tools to finish generating responses.
Each individual wait is little, but for people who use AI throughout the day, those minutes add up. I started wondering whether that unused time could provide some small value instead of simply being lost.
As I worked on it, I realized the biggest challenge was not displaying ads - it was making the experience transparent, easy, and worth using.
That led me to build a full dashboard where users can track their activity, earnings, and rewards, along with ability for any user to promote any of your projects too.
My goal is not to promise that EarnPT will replace anyone's income. It is simply a way for frequent AI users to earn small rewards during 'Thinking...'.

Honestly thought this was going to be scammy but the setup was straightforward and I actually got a small reward while waiting for a generation to finish. The sponsored content felt low-key enough that it wasn't annoying.
Love the idea of getting rewarded while AI is running, that downtime always feels wasted. One thing that would make this way better for me is a simple earnings dashboard right inside the extension popup, so I can see how much I have earned today and which sponsored placements actually paid out. Transparency on the rates would build a lot of trust quickly.
