Hey Product Hunt — I’m Matt. I made Dustbound because I collect, and I was tired of tools that felt like a spreadsheet wearing a game skin. Sprites move with the season. New ones land, variants show up, and Events get announced in someone else’s timezone. I wanted a companion that keeps up — something I’d actually open between matches, not a list I abandon two weeks in. The part that really needed solving, for me, was trading and indexing. Too many bad apples. Ghosts, last-second flakes, people who make the whole thing feel unsafe. Pairing is what I built instead: reputation so you can see who shows up, and a privacy-first flow so your Epic username stays put until you both confirm. I still get a little proud of that. The rest is meant to be fun. Achievements as you collect and master — including Secrets I hope you’ll stumble into. Events in your timezone, with a nudge if you want one. I got tired of doing the UTC maths in my head. New this season: Lobby Hack tracking. A running list you can mark used, so those codes live next to the collection instead of in a screenshot graveyard. It’s an unofficial fan companion. Not affiliated with Epic. Also not the Steam roguelite of the same name — sorry, other Dustbound. Google Play and iOS, a one-time price, no ads, no account. If you collect, I’d love to know whether Pairing feels like it would actually spare you the bad apples — and what’s still missing from this season?

Who hunted Dustbound?

Dustbound was hunted by Matthew Abbott. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
