Hey all, I'm Josh, founder of Dun.
I bought my house and realized there was no how-to guide telling me how to manage the various aspects of my home. Questions kept coming up, like: "When should I service the furnace? Is this contractor ripping me off? Do I need to worry about my sump pump not working during a storm?" I kept Googling things and hoping for the best.
After months of spending countless hours finding the right experts for service and managing the different equipment in my home, I built the tool I wished existed: Dun. You simply text Dun about your house like you'd text a friend who happens to know everything about homes. You can upload photos of your equipment, and it tells you what it is, how old, and any maintenance that needs to be done. The cool thing about Dun is that it's SMS-based, and there's no app to download. You just text a phone number and chat that way!
Also, Dun is completely free.
