DumpPanda shows where your Mac's space went, explains every find in plain words, and moves only what you pick to the Trash. Includes an uninstaller and Move to a Drive. Free version frees 5 GB; €19 once unlocks everything.
Hi Product Hunt! We're a small design studio in Belgium.
Our Macs kept running out of space, and the culprit was always the same: render caches. After Effects alone had 8 GB on one of them. The cleaners we tried either shouted "junk!" or deleted things without saying what they were. So we built the one we wanted.
DumpPanda explains every find in one sentence, ticks only what rebuilds by itself, and moves what you choose to the Trash. Never permanently, never in the background. Photos, Mail, passwords and your projects are off limits.
Also in the box:
• A Space Map: where your disk went, with System Data explained, and what can be freed in each folder.
• An uninstaller that takes an app's leftovers with it, matched by the app's own ID. One Undo puts it all back.
• Move to a Drive: copies big files to another drive, checks every copy, then trashes the originals.
(And yes, the panda is a raccoon. Trash panda. He only eats what's safe.)
Free: the full scan, the Space Map and the uninstaller, and up to 5 GB freed.
Launch price: €9 instead of €19 with code PH9, until 19 October. After that it's €19, one-time, no subscription.

Who hunted DumpPanda?
DumpPanda was hunted by DumpPanda. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
