Hi Product Hunt! 👋
My girlfriend and I live in different countries, and after a while our video calls kept turning into "so... how was your day?". So I started building Duet - a place where we can actually *do* something together on a call.
What it does:
🎮 46 games you play at the same time while seeing each other - air hockey, pong, tanks, darts, a "do our answers match?" quiz, a shared drawing canvas, team games
🍿 Movie nights in sync - share a tab, play a file or a YouTube link; pause and seek are shared
😂 React on top of the film - emoji, funny masks on actors, throw tomatoes, speech bubbles, sounds
💬 Floating chat, plus auto photos and 5-second clips of your funniest moments
👥 Rooms for up to 8 friends for a movie night
It runs in the browser on iPhone, Android and PC, nothing to install, no account - you just send your partner a link.
It's a side project and still rough in places, so I'd love your honest feedback: what would make your video-call dates better?
