When using macOS, I love switching apps to full-screen mode. However, with multiple full-screen apps, it can be inconvenient to find things, especially when I need to use large-scale question-and-answer models. Switching interfaces frequently can be a hassle. That's why I developed Duck Float. It floats above full-screen apps and supports file browsing, text storage, clipboard management, and web browsing. You can quickly show or hide it using keyboard shortcuts or by clicking the icon in the menu bar. When you have multiple monitors, it follows your active window, always ready when you need it. Features: 📁 File Browsing In addition to the usual viewing and opening of folder contents, it also supports previewing and dragging. • When writing documents, you can preview a PDF anytime, anywhere. • While in full-screen browser mode, you can drag files through Duck Float to upload files or download images. 🔗 Text and File Links Drag files from different folders to create links, enabling quick access to files across various paths. Temporary texts can also be pasted here for editing and copying. 📋 Clipboard History It records clipboard content, allowing you to filter by content type or search text content by keywords. 🌐 Web Browsing You can browse the web with Duck Float at any time while using any full-screen mode software, making it super convenient.

Duck Float is a lifesaver for multi-taskers! It brilliantly floats over full-screen apps, letting you manage files, access the clipboard, and browse the web without skipping a beat. The ability to preview PDFs or drag files while doing other tasks is super helpful. Keyboard shortcuts make it even easier to use!

When I switch between floating modes, I notice a slight delay. It might be a good idea to improve this for a smoother experience.

My colleague who often uses multiple full-screen apps will find this helpful. I'll be sure to share this with them!

Great launch! The ability to manage files and clipboard history while in full-screen mode sounds very convenient. I'm looking forward to using it!

This tool has a lot of potential, but the user interface could be made more intuitive. Adding a tutorial or help section might improve the experience for new users.

It's great to see a tool that helps with multitasking by floating over full-screen apps. One suggestion I would be to include a dark mode option for those late-night work sessions.

The concept of floating above full-screen apps is neat. It might be worth adding options for customization to suit different user preferences.

This app could be a real time-saver for managing files and browsing while using other applications.

The foating feature for full-screen apps is quite attractive. It seems like a great way to smoothly multitask.

This tool looks interesting! The ability to manage files and clipboard content while using full-screen apps is a useful feature.

Love the concept of Duck Float – it looks super helpful for staying productive while in full-screen apps. Good luck with the launch!

I’d like to know more about how this app handles clipboard management. Does it allow for multiple clipboard entries, or is it more of a basic clipboard manager?

This is an awesome idea, I can see the use case very easily as a Mac user - congrats Chris! Wish you the best with this launch! Also who can hate a really good duck logo 🦆 haha

This sounds pretty cool. Having an app that stays on top and handles different tasks while you’re working on other things could be really useful.

Finally, an app that makes multitasking easier! Being able to access files, manage clipboard, and browse while staying on top of other screens sounds like a real win.

Are there any plans to expand Duck Float beyond macOS to other platforms, such as Windows or Linux? This could greatly broaden its user base.

This is just what I needed! An app that floats and helps with file management and browsing will make working on multiple things so much easier. Thanks for making this!

Running multiple full-screen apps already tends to consume significant system resources. Does Duck Float have a noticeable impact on system performance or battery life?
