Dubble is a Chrome Extension and Desktop app* that watches how you work and translates your actions into written step-by-step guides, videos and screenshots - so you don’t have to.
🛑 The problem
Writing and maintaining good documentation is slow, boring, and hard, so often it doesn't get done. This makes onboarding new employees, clients and customers harder than it has to be - often with lots of repetitive 1:1 training sessions. What if you could "Dubble" yourself? (Get it? Like "Double yourself"!)
On top of this; processes change and docs go stale. There's only one thing worse than no docs and that's wrong docs!
🧩 The solution
Dubble works just like a screen recorder - available as both a Chrome Extension or Desktop app. Here's how it works.

You press record and then go through the process you'd like to document - just do your thing! As soon as you're done the docs, screenshots and screen recording are ready to go.
✏️ Edit
In seconds you can edit descriptions, markup, redact and edit screenshots - or pick completely new screenshots from existing screen recordings.

Share a URL to your guide with a single click, or invite your team to edit and record guides together.
Magically copy and paste your guides to wherever your knowledge lives - whether that's Notion, Confluence, Google Docs, Trainual... Anywhere that supports rich content or markdown works for Dubble.

Oh this would be great to build documentations for operations heavy tasks like QAing or onboarding new users. I can see this be used in many other use cases though. Oh small things like how to set your signature!
The cool thing is now this is searchable and can be attached to an LLM to help people self serve - very cool. How does the tool work? Screen record -> breaks down into frames -> analyze each frame with a multimodal LLM?
