DualScroll
Two scripts, one scroll: the bilingual teleprompter
A teleprompter that scrolls two scripts side by side, locked together line for line. Read one language while a translation, cue track or stage directions glide alongside. Records up to 4K while both columns roll, adds automatic captions, mirrors for hardware rigs and pushes duplicate windows to external monitors on Mac. Built for bilingual presenters, interpreters and language learners. iPhone, iPad and Mac, one purchase. Free to try.
Hi Product Hunt. I'm Ian, an indie developer of teleprompter apps for iPhone, iPad and Mac.
DualScroll started with a request from a presenter who had to deliver the same talk in two languages and kept losing her place switching between scripts. The answer was two columns that scroll in perfect lockstep: you read one, and the other is always exactly where you need it.
Since then the people using it most have been interpreters (presenter reads one language, interpreter follows the other), language learners who like seeing a phrase and its translation move together, and video creators who keep cues and stage directions next to the script.
It records up to 4K while both scripts roll, turns the primary script into captions, and on Mac it mirrors the whole screen and sends duplicate windows to external monitors for teleprompter rigs.
The Lite version is free with a 60 second cap so you can try everything before paying; one purchase covers iPhone, iPad and Mac.
Happy to answer anything about bilingual delivery or teleprompting in general.
