Hi everyone, I'm Paul. Drystone is a Suguru puzzle game for iPhone. The rules fit in a sentence: each block holds 1 up to its size, and no two identical numbers can touch, even diagonally. Most Suguru apps get harder by hiding more numbers, which is why their "expert" often plays like a warm-up. Drystone builds every board on your phone, solves it the way a person would, and grades it by the hardest technique that solve actually needed. So the puzzles never run out, and the difficulty means something. It also makes no network requests at all: no account, no ads, no analytics. The daily puzzle is worked out from the date, so everyone gets the same one without a server. Easy, Medium and the daily are free. £2.99 once unlocks Hard, Expert, unlimited puzzles and hints. I'd like to hear how the difficulty feels, especially at the Hard end.

Who hunted Drystone?

Drystone was hunted by Paul Welsh. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
