DropLink
Share files via a link — receiver just needs a browser
Pick files, get a link and a short code. The other side downloads in any browser - no install needed. Fast on the same network, secure across the internet.
Hey Product Hunt 👋
I built DropLink because I got tired of saying "first install [SHAREit /
Xender / Send Anywhere] to receive my file." The recipient should not need
your blessing to download something you're trying to give them.
So DropLink flips the model: only the sender installs the app. The recipient
just opens a link in whatever browser they have. That's it.
Three things make it actually fast and private:
⚡ Same Wi-Fi → direct device-to-device transfer (no cloud round-trip,
speed = your network)
🌐 Different networks → an encrypted relay tunnel bridges devices, with
resume on dropouts (no upload-wait, no cloud storage)
🔐 Files never land on a server. They stream from your device only while
the link is live. 8-character unguessable tokens. Stop sharing →
instant invalidation.
No accounts. No subscription. One-time purchase on iOS/macOS, free on
Android (sideload) & Windows.

Who hunted DropLink?
DropLink was hunted by Shaolong Zhu. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
