Solo dev here. I built Dreamz because I've been trying to keep a dream journal for years and kept falling off. Basic text apps don't give you anything back, and ChatGPT doesn't remember anything from yesterday. Dreamz is the middle: a mystical reading per dream, and a Grimoire that compounds over time.
Write or voice-record a dream, get back a full interpretation with symbols, omens, and a personal ritual. Every reading saves to your Grimoire, and later readings start referencing earlier dreams.
Stack is Expo (React Native) + Supabase + OpenAI, built in about 8 weeks solo, heavily pair-programmed with Claude (asking an AI to help build an AI-powered dream app has some amount of recursion I haven't unpacked yet).
Free tier gives you 1 reading per day plus the full journal and 5,700-symbol dictionary, so you can get real signal before deciding on premium. Dropping promo codes in replies for anyone who wants to try the full version and share honest feedback.
Would love feedback on the onboarding flow and whether the mystical voice feels authentic or overdone. Roasts welcome.
