drawDB
Collaborative database design for teams and AI agents
Free easy-to-use open-source editor to design and import database schemas visually, improve them with AI, collaborate in real time, and give coding agents schema access through MCP. Built on the open-source drawDB editor.
Hey Product Hunt 👋
I’m Lilit, the maker behind drawDB.
drawDB started as an open-source database diagram editor. As the project grew, we kept hearing the same requests: cloud storage, AI that understands the actual schema, easier sharing, live collaboration and a way for coding agents to inspect diagrams without guessing.
That became drawDB Pro.
With Pro, you can:
- Save and organize diagrams in the cloud
- Create and improve schemas with AI
- Give coding agents schema access through MCP
- Share diagrams and collaborate when needed
The open-source editor remains free and self-hostable. Pro adds the hosted workflows around it.
Would love to hear any feedback, particularly on the AI and MCP experience: what would you want a coding agent to understand or answer about your database schema?
Thanks for checking it out!
