Hey Product Hunt 👋 I'm Heizeer, and this is my first launch here.
DotNap started from a very small, very stubborn problem: I *wanted* to take 20-minute naps at work, but I never dared to — what if the alarm doesn't ring? Phone on Silent, Focus mode on, app killed by the system… every nap felt like a gamble.
So I built a nap timer around one promise: **it rings. Always.** DotNap schedules the alarm through Apple's system alarm channel (AlarmKit on iOS 26), the same channel as the built-in Clock — Silent mode can't mute it, Focus can't block it, force-quitting the app can't stop it. I tested this obsessively on a real device (silent switch, every Focus mode, killing the app mid-nap) before letting anyone else touch it.
A few things I care about:
🐱 **Dot.** A hand-drawn sleepy cat who naps with you — blinks and yawns while you set the dial, curls up and breathes (with little handwritten z's floating up) while you sleep, and jumps up bright-eyed when the alarm goes off. Ending a nap should feel like a tiny victory.
🌧️ **Three real recordings** — Rain on leaves, Campfire with night insects, Lakeside wind — fully offline, looping without a seam. Or your own Apple Music playlist.
💛 **Honest pricing.** 10 complete naps free (a nap only counts if the alarm actually rang — cancel early and it's free). Then $3.99, once, forever. No subscription, no ads, no account, no tracking — the App Privacy label literally says "Data Not Collected".
It's iOS 26+ only (that's where AlarmKit lives), and it's deliberately tiny: one dial, one button. I'd love brutally honest feedback — especially on the sounds and on Dot.
