Docwelo helps freelancers, founders, and small businesses get standard contracts like NDAs, Employment, and Service Agreements done in minutes for just $2 per doc. Simple, fast, and affordable so you can focus on your work, not paperwork.
Freelancers, founders, SMBs—how often have you found yourself stuck in paperwork?
A while back, my co-founder and I were hiring software engineers for Sonetz. The hiring part? Exciting. The contracts? Not so much. We thought it would be quick—just a standard doc, fill in the blanks, done. Turns out, even the most basic agreements can be a headache. They take too much time, get confusing, and cost way more than they should.
We had seen this struggle before. My co-founder was a senior SWE freelancer before Sonetz, so he had dealt with this firsthand. Clients would ask for proper contracts, and every time, it was a hassle. Either too complicated, too expensive, or just plain annoying to deal with. Whether hiring or freelancing, we kept running into the same problem.
At some point, we asked ourselves, why is this still so complicated?
So we built Docwelo, a super simple way to get NDAs, Employment, and Service Agreements done in minutes for just $2 per doc. No back-and-forth and no unnecessary costs for standard contracts. Just quick, easy agreements so you can focus on building instead of paperwork.
V1 of Docwelo is live at docwelo.com!
Would love to hear your thoughts. What other contracts would make your life easier?
This looks like a game-changer for document collaboration! AI-powered summaries, smart search, and seamless organization—exactly what teams need to cut through the clutter and find what matters fast. 🔥
Quick question: how does Docwelo handle security and data privacy, especially for sensitive documents? Any encryption or access control features?
One suggestion: It would be great if Docwelo could support voice notes or audio transcriptions for meetings, making it easier to turn discussions into actionable documents. Any plans for that?
Great product. Would be very useful to me as a I don’t really know about this legal stuff and it stresses me when I have to send out hiring agreements to employ people in my company.
@urja_kohli@samcraft You're solving a very painful problem for us as freelancers. Great product guys!
@urja_kohli@samcraft Document creation in 60s with $2 pricing. Indeed, you guys have come a long way. Great going; upvoted!
a really cool and useful tool, @urja_kohli . like the pricing too - i can see how paying a couple of bucks a pop would make it really attractive to self-funded teams.
curious how your site's tagline performs. seems a little too broad to me but maybe it works.
anyways, good luck with the launch - upvoted
@urja_kohli@samcraft Great stuff. This will save so much time for startups. Excited to use it!
Docwelo sounds like a lifesaver for anyone drowning in paperwork! Contracts shouldn’t be this complicated, and $2 per doc is a no-brainer. Do you plan to add customizable templates for different industries or keep it simple with standard agreements?
