DocuSense
Document extraction API for invoices, pay stubs & more
DocuSense reads invoices, bank statements, pay stubs and tax slips (T4, RL-1, W-2, P60…) and returns structured fields with a confidence score for each value. Review every field, export to JSON or CSV, or automate with a REST API and signed webhooks to QuickBooks, Xero, Zapier and more. A custom mode extracts up to 30 fields you name from any document. Original files are deleted after processing. Free plan: 50 pages/month.
Hey Product Hunt 👋
I built DocuSense because I kept watching accountants, payroll teams and lenders retype the same documents by hand: invoices, pay stubs, bank statements, and hundreds of T4/W-2 slips every tax season.
DocuSense does the retyping for you:
📄 Drop a PDF, photo, Word, Excel or CSV file (or a ZIP of them)
🤖 It detects the document type and extracts every field, each with a confidence score
✅ Uncertain values go to a review queue, so nothing gets silently accepted
🔌 Export to JSON/CSV, or push results via REST API + signed webhooks to QuickBooks, Xero, Google Sheets, Slack…
What makes it different:
- Ready-made models for 12 document types, including Canadian (T4, RL-1, ROE), US (W-2), UK (P60, P45) and French tax documents
- Custom mode: name up to 30 fields and get them back from any document
- Privacy first: your original file is deleted right after processing
The Basic plan is free forever (50 pages/month, no card needed), and every new account gets 100 welcome pages.
I'd love your feedback, especially on which document types you'd like us to support next!
