"The Documenso community rocks." – Timur, Co-Founder Documenso
Hey everyone!
We’re excited to introduce Documenso 2.0, and we now consider it fully enterprise-ready 🎉
That means we’ve added organizational support, released our improved V2 API, and completely refreshed the editor and settings pages to keep everything nice and tidy. Also, we are now fully SOC 2 compliant 🧐
And of course, while it’s enterprise-ready, it’s still here for everyone with our community version and free plan. We’ve shipped a lot this year, and we’d love for you to sign up and give it a try. If you want to chat about enterprise options, just let us know.
Cool startup! We actually use DocuSign, and it’s not very convenient, in my opinion. We’ll definitely try your platform for our next contract signing.
great to see a team take on docusign. Strong product, eager to see you win!
Wow, Documenso 2.0 is genuinely exciting! The powerful new editor for precise field placement and multi-document envelopes are exactly what my team needs for our client onboarding docs. I can already see this streamlining our signature process—no more back-and-forth on where to sign. Quick question: what was the biggest challenge in building out the API v2 and how did you overcome it?
Super cool to see an open-source DocuSign alternative.
For companies that need strict compliance, how far does Documenso’s hosted offering go today, and when do you recommend self-hosting instead?
Love how you kept the community version while pushing enterprise features. That balance is hard to pull off. Really solid work on this release.
Wow I love that you Open Sourced this, it's a better feeling to sign docs on my own servers that I control @catalinmpit
Documenso feels like the direction e-signature tools should’ve taken years ago. Clean, open, and actually builder-friendly. The self-host option plus a solid API makes it a strong fit for teams that care about control and scalability. This is the kind of product that quietly becomes a default choice for new startups. Great work.
This is just awesome! I'm suprsied how Dropbox Sign and DocuSign are bad with UX. For me, the best choice currently is PandaDac, but their API is expensive.
Will save your product for later needs. Looks great 👍🏻
Been using Documenso for a few docs, and I love its absolutely clean, and minimal UI.
Open source all the way.
Congrats on the launch! What's the latest on the embedding experience in this update?
Boom. Didnt know you existed. Do now. Love an Open Source alternative to anything. Congrats on the launch.
I've tried several signature applications. Documenso is the application that I'm most drawn to, offering a good balance between simplicity, functionality, and accessibility.
Super exciting update! Does the new API support webhook integrations for real-time document status updates?
