I was doing an internship at a software firm where they used an expensive document extraction solution in their projects. I realised from there that there were no cheap and fast alternatives. Therefor I seen a real gap in the market.
The future plans are to use this product as scaffolding to build a range of products on top of it.
One idea I had was to create a drag-and-drop platform to let users create document automations and eliminate any manual work. (e.g, The user could create an automation to have a slack bot send documents on request to their Doculli pipelines. Using their set JSON prompt, Doculli could extract and then send the data to a desired REST endpoint).
It's important to note Doculli doesn't use OCR technology yet.
