Describe a template in plain English ("a VAT invoice with our logo and bank details"). DocForge drafts the HTML. Drop in a CSV, render hundreds of on-brand PDFs in minutes. Edit anything by typing what to change ("move the VAT line under the subtotal"). Built for finance and ops teams replacing mail-merge spreadsheets and rigid invoice tools without outsourcing document workflows.
Hey 👋
I'm Kyle, founder from the UK. DocForge is my answer to a problem I kept watching small finance and ops teams hit:
A friend running a 12-person consultancy invoiced clients through a Google Sheets mail-merge script. Every time a client wanted a tweak, like a VAT line moved, a different bank for EUR vs GBP, they edited the template by hand for every variant. They eventually stopped offering custom invoicing because the maintenance ate them alive.
The tools that exist mostly fall into two camps:
- Template editors (Docupilot, PandaDoc) want you to design every layout up front so you end up maintaining 8 versions for 8 use cases.
- Mail-merge tools (spreadsheet macros, Documint) give you one rigid template and brittle field mappings.
What was missing: the template itself being something you describe in English, and refine in English.
So that's what we built. You type "a VAT invoice with our logo, line items for each add-on, and a bank transfer footer", the AI drafts the HTML, you see the preview, you say "move the VAT line under the subtotal", it does. Then you drop in a CSV and we render hundreds of variants. AI handles the template design and refinement.
Would love feedback, especially from finance/ops people currently fighting their document workflows. What's the worst document you have to generate regularly?

Who hunted DocForge?
DocForge was hunted by King-To, Kyle Hui. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it.
