Top comment

We built DNDShield Manifest-V3-native from day one — so this week's Chrome Web Store cleanup of legacy Manifest V2 extensions doesn't touch us at all. No scrambling, no "please update before it breaks." The bigger reason we started: most ad blockers either overclaim ("zero data collection", inflated rule counts) or need an account just to turn on. DNDShield blocks ads, trackers, pop-ups and YouTube ads out of the box, works the moment you click the power button, and doesn't need sign-in for the core features. Would love feedback, especially from anyone who lost their old blocker in the Manifest V2 shutdown and is still looking for something that just works.

Who hunted DNDShield?

DNDShield was hunted by Tarun Prasad. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
