Hey Product Hunt! 👋
I'm ShengMin, the maker of Divevia.
As a diver, I kept hitting the same wall: info about dive sites is scattered across random blogs, outdated forums, and Facebook groups in languages I couldn't read. Planning a dive abroad meant hours of digging — and
I still never really knew the conditions until I showed up at the water.
So I built Divevia — a global map of dive sites, for both freedivers and scuba divers.
What you can do:
🗺️ Discover dive sites worldwide on one map — depth, difficulty, entry type, photos, and reviews from real divers
🌊 Check live marine conditions per site — waves, ocean current, water temp, and an hourly forecast, so you know before you go
👥 Find or organize group dives — with built-in carpooling to the site
📇 Keep all your certs in one place (40+ agencies) and import your dive-computer logs (FIT / UDDF)
🌐 Fully localized in 9 languages
It's free on iOS and Android.
I'm building this solo and it's still early days, so I'd genuinely love your feedback: what would make you actually open this on your next dive trip? What's missing?
Thanks for diving in 🤿

Who hunted Divevia?
Divevia was hunted by G W. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
