dither — todos & planning
A polished to-do app for Android, iOS, Mac and Windows
dither is a premium to-do app. One-time purchase, no subscription - on all platforms -Reminders that actually remind: re-fire until you act, not a single notification you'll miss -Task dependencies: lock a to-do until its prerequisite is done -Scratchpads: markdown pages, to-dos, attachments and hand-drawn scribbles on one surface -Your own cloud folder for sync — Drive, Dropbox, iCloud, anything — no account, no server we run -Full export, always — JSON and Markdown, even after the trial ends
Hey Product Hunt 👋
I built dither because I loved Things 3's design but got tired of it being Apple-only. Every cross-platform alternative I found solved that by being a subscription instead — which felt like trading one lock-in for another.
So dither is the same philosophy as Things 3 — one-time purchase, no subscription, no account, your data stays yours — just on every platform: Android, iPhone, iPad, Mac and Windows, from one codebase.
A few things I'm especially happy with:
Reminders that keep re-firing until you actually deal with them, not one notification you'll dismiss and forget
Task dependencies (lock a to-do until its prerequisite's done) — something Things 3 still doesn't have
Sync through whatever cloud folder you already use — Drive, Dropbox, iCloud — no account, no server of mine in the middle
Free 21-day trial everywhere, no card required.
Would love to hear what you think, and happy to answer anything about the build — it's Flutter, one Dart codebase across all five platforms.
