Hey Product Hunt 👋 I'm Jiří, from RedPixl. I work in film & TV, and for years my "data plan" for a shoot was the thing every DIT quietly runs on: a fragile spreadsheet, half-remembered codec data rates, and a hope that I'd ordered enough cards and drives. DIT Media Calculator turns a camera package into the numbers you actually need — in minutes, with specs you can defend. Set up the shoot: 🎥 Up to 26 cameras (A–Z), each with its own codec, resolution, frame rate, colour profile and card — from real manufacturer specs for ARRI, RED, Sony, Blackmagic, Canon, Panasonic and more (add your own for anything exotic). 🎙️ Production sound modelled alongside picture. 🗓️ Shoot days, proxy/dailies formats, backup and archive plan.
