Hello Product Hunt! No one loves on-call yet have to go through it every rotation. Busy on-calls causing burnouts in common. We decided to build Diplo with pin pointed features just alleviate engineers of this on-call toil and optimize operational costs. We would love to hear your take. I would like to describe a few key features that we started out with - RCCA reports RCCA (Root Cause Corrective Action) or post mortem or retrospective reports is a critical document that needs to be prepared for every high impact incident that captures a detailed incident description, key timelines for mitigation and root causing, five whys analysis, corrective actions, SLO metrics etc. This easily takes up several hours for engineers, often there are several of these that overflow outside of the on-call shift. βœ… Diplo handles prepared RCCA reports within minutes freeing up dev time for engineers. Incident Insights Incidents are often combination of multiple features being used in unexpected ways that sends on-call team on a ride, with each time a different on-call team looking at the issue from scratch. βœ… Diplo leverages past incidents' knowledge to resolve current one faster Knowledge source Operational tasks are often haywire among Jira, Confluence wikis, Google docs, Notion and more. βœ… Diplo connects it all within slack To try out Diplo as a slack bot, reach us at https://www.diplo.cc/contact. We would also love to hear more use-cases based on your experience.

This is something I can turn AI towards with confidence. The stakes are low enough and there is enough boiler plate. Great idea! It's also vital work that is often done with low quality. Looking forward to giving this a whirl.

Oh wow this is quite cool - I mean just the ability to pull up relevant telemetrics is pretty cool. It's awesome that it has access to knowledge source too. Congrats on the launch @aishwaryagune!

I’m curious, how does Diplo integrate with existing tools like Jira and Confluence? Can it pull data directly from those platforms or does it work more a central hub?

Cool idea but honestly, do we really need another tool trying to manage everything for us, how accurate is this with post mortem reports anyway, maybe think about adding some way to customize the incident resolutions?

Congrats on launch @aishwaryagune! Love the idea here, feel like this would help both startups and larger orgs alike.

Congrats on the launch! Would be quite meta if you enlisted the DJ Diplo as a spokesperson...

Sounds cool but what happens when it messes up an RCCA report or misses something crucial, any plan for that πŸ€” also wonder if it can handle more complex tasks in the future

This is a fantastic initiative, @aishwaryagune! The operational challenges faced by engineers during on-call shifts can really take a toll, and it’s great to see Diplo aiming to streamline those processes. The RCCA automation sounds like a game-changer and should definitely cut down on the time spent on post-mortem reports. Plus, integrating all that scattered knowledge into Slack will certainly help in resolving incidents faster. Can't wait to see how it evolves. Upvoted!

Internal knowledge search capabilities are a big win. Finding information quickly can make a huge difference, especially when dealing with complex issues.

I don't know, seems like just another tool that promises to save time but will probably end up adding more steps to the process, integrating with Slack is nice, but are engineers really going to trust it to handle critical reports, skeptical but curious to see how it pans out.

Automating incident resolutions and managing runbooks are exactly what I need. If this tool lives up to its promises, it could really smoothly my daily operations.

If this tool can really cut down on the time spent on repetitive tasks, it would be a significant boost to my productivity.

This looks so cool πŸ¦–! Being on call can be so stressful, especially if you're new to the team, or get paged late at night - Diplo seems like a really nice buddy to have by your side while you manage incidents. Congrats on the launch! :)

Managing operational tasks efficiently is crucial for me. This tool seems to cover all the bases, from reports to knowledge management.

The focus on reducing time to resolution for incidents is impressive. I'm curious to see how effective it will be in practice.

Congrats on the launch! Your commitment and effort are truly inspiring. May this be the start of a fantastic chapter in your life. All the best! 🌈 @aishwaryagune

I get the idea behind having an assistant engineer on-call but won't automating RCCA reports miss out on some key details that need human judgment also, how well does it really integrate with Slack, and what about the learning curve for non-tech folks, would love to see more examples or maybe a demo
