👋Hey PH! I’m Shengkun, co-founder of Dim.

Dim is a minimalist note app that auto-tags your notes.

The idea is simple: just write.

Any thoughts, ideas, what you see, what you feel, what you learn. The app organizes everything quietly in the background.

That’s it. In a world full of heavy AI tools, we just want a small note app that does one thing well.

We believe every thought is a signal. When you collect them over time, the bigger picture shows up. The dots connect on their own.

We’ll be here all day to chat and answer questions.

Give Dim a try.

Just write, we’ll sort it out. Dim is basically the adult in the room while my thoughts run around screaming. 😂🔥 Upvoted.

Cool. Can it group work and personal stuff? Can it send reminders via email, SMS, or push notifications?

it will be great if I can just use it with other note apps like apple notes

I appreciate the minimalist philosophy behind Dim  Automatically tagging notes to connect ideas without any manual effort is an elegant approach to capturing thoughts and insights  The focus on simplicity while quietly organising content makes it appealing for everyday use

  • Yes, Dim Notes is “good” — especially for simple, idea-centered note-taking.

  • It’s not the best for every use case, but for the right person, it’s very good.

  • If I were you and needed a note app for ideas / journaling / thinking, I would definitely try it.

Super clean and intuitive way to capture and connect ideas, really like the smooth tagging and the visual flow of thoughts. Curious whether you plan to add collaboration features so teams can use Dim together.

@Dim Notes Love the auto-tagging feature! Does it integrate with design workflows or project management tools?

Wow, this minimalist note app’s auto-tagging feature is exactly what I’ve been craving. I jot down tons of scattered project thoughts and random brainstorming snippets every day, and sorting through them to find connections later’s such a hassle—this’d let me just write freely, then let the app link those ideas up on its own. What I also appreciate is how it skips all the extra clutter; no fancy tools I don’t need, just straightforward note-taking. Do you have plans to add cross-device sync soon, so I can flip between my phone and laptop notes without missing a beat?

I think this is really important - and something you can grow into an agent-builder, if you really think about it.

Love it. Sometimes my ideas seem sparse and I add them at various points of the day/week, it would be good if the app automatically forms those relationships.
