Hi Product Hunt, I'm Robert, and I made Dice Drop. I play tabletop games, and every dice app I tried picked a random number and showed a picture of a die. Dice Drop throws the dice instead: they tumble across a tray with real 3D physics, knock into each other and land, and the result is read from the face that ends up on top. It runs in your browser and on iPhone and Android. What you can do for free: • Roll every die from D1 to D120, up to 4 at a time • Make your own dice: how many, which die, the colours and a name for each side. Opposed rolls too: 2 red against 2 blue, and Dice Drop says who wins • Story board: roll a place, a character and a problem, then tell the story • Test the dice yourself: roll any die up to 100,000 times and watch the results come in • Play together inside a Discord voice channel, in Owlbear Rodeo, or with a room code Free to play with classic dice on a felt table with up to 4 dice. Premium unlocks additional tray surfaces, up to 20 dice including mixed sets, formulas, macros, your own pictures on the dice and a multitude of high quality upgrades with a 7-day free trial, no card needed. Games cafés and stores can also put their logo on the dice for free, with a QR code on the tables. I'd love your feedback: what game do you play, and what would make Dice Drop better for it?
