Dia is the AI browser from The Browser Company. Chat with your tabs, write in your own voice, learn and plan faster, shop, and more — all with privacy that you control.
Dia has become my default browser for a while. Congrats for launching! Keep building!!
Imported my Chrome Profile and now there is no way to remove the one I do not need. Thought I would try this as a personal browser for a bit.
Super irritating given the fact that I can't change or remove a profile !!
@Dia Browser it;s my default browser, i can;t work without dia now

I’m already a fan and I can’t stop using it! It’s my go-to browser, and one of the most exciting products I’ve tried recently. I’m really looking forward to seeing more AI-native features come out in Dia!
Since I knew from the start that Dia doesn’t have Arc’s sidebar, I didn’t have high expectations. However, when I launched it, I found that some of Arc’s aesthetics were still present, which left a good impression. The overall experience, including the AI integration, feels very smooth, so I plan to keep using it for a while.
By the way, since I can't write in English, I had Dia's AI write this review for me.
I was able about to write a nasty comment on how you let early Arc Believers like me down, when I saw that Dia is finally open to Arc members. So I hopped on and played with it for an hour instead. I like it - though not sure yet if Dia adds something that I'm not already doing with Perplexity (which will also release a browser soon) and other tools.
What I really like is that it is FAST, looks clean (especially on the new macOS 26!) and has core features like extensions, profiles etc
I will work with it as my main browser for the next weeks - although I do 95%+ of my web browsing on iPad and use my Mac only for work, which is why there I work mostly inside the same (web-)apps.
Let's hope Apple keeps unifying macOS and ipadOS even more and apps/browsers work on both equally. Can't wait for that day!
what a waste. you realize of course that people see it now, but since it's not available, you're going to have to do another release once it is available, right?
Product Hunt is usually nothing but love, but the hate for Dia here is well earned. Another bait and switch from an otherwise promising company. Hopefully, they pivot back to Arc.
Arc super user here! Just downloaded Dia and was really impressed with onboarding. I really really really wish Dia had the sidebar organization of Arc - the bookmarks in Dia are a step backwards for me. I'd call product release this two steps forward and one step back. Keep going!
The Le Creuset in the video gives a certain vibe if you know what I mean... I was really looking forward to the agentic browser revolution.
Please don't stick with old monetization schemes though, I don't want my data in a bidstream. Use an AI native alternative or charge a subscription, thx!
