Hey Product Hunt! 👋 I'm Aditya, an Android developer and the solo creator of Dexverse.
I built Dexverse because I couldn't find a Pokédex app on Android that felt modern. Most of the ones I tried were either cluttered, outdated, or slow to navigate. I wanted something that was fast, clean, and enjoyable to use every day—not just a database of Pokémon.
Dexverse lets you explore 1000+ Pokémon, moves, abilities, evolution chains, berries, held items, regions, and build your own teams, all wrapped in a polished Material 3 interface with smooth animations.
Building it taught me a lot about Jetpack Compose, app design, performance optimization, and creating an experience that feels premium even though it's completely free.
It's already been downloaded by over 8,000 Pokémon fans on Google Play, and I'm excited to keep improving it with your feedback

I`m really curious - do you plan to monetize it in the future or is it only for fun. And one more question - are you planning to make a site more playful in the future - maybe adding some interactive animations of pokemons or mini game to it?
the material 3 design choices here really pop, especially how the evolution chains flow so smoothly into each other. nice work putting this much polish into what usually feels like a pretty mundane reference app.
finally an android pokédex that doesn't feel like it was built in 2010. the material 3 layout and smooth animations make scrolling through evolution chains actually enjoyable.
Adding offline access to the full Pokédex would be huge, especially for people who like to browse on the train or in places with spotty signal. Being able to download regional Pokédex data and evolution chains ahead of time would make the app feel way more reliable when I'm not on wifi.
