I built Dew because I noticed my mornings were starting on autopilot. The alarm goes off, I'd slam snooze, eventually drag myself up feeling behind before the day even started.
I wanted to interrupt that pattern with something tiny but intentional. One sentence. One true thing about yourself before you're fully awake. That's it.
The core mechanic came first: you literally cannot dismiss the alarm until you type an affirmation. Everything else like the Reflect tab, the wallpapers, the AI suggestions was built around protecting that one moment.
I launched yesterday on r/AppGiveaway and 100+ people grabbed codes in the first few hours, which told me the concept resonates. Bringing it to Product Hunt today to find people who want to build a real morning habit, not just snooze through it.
