Hello ProductHunters! I'm now a full-stack developer, but I started my career as a UX/UI designer. One of the things that put me ahead when applying for developer jobs was having a portfolio of projects, something the design world runs on. While talking to new developers, I suggest they also build a portfolio of projects. But, the main problem that comes up is "I don't know what to build". To solve this, I thought I'd combine my years of development experience and my old to design skills to create daily challenges for new developers looking to apply their skills and experienced developers looking to keep their skills sharp. Markdown is the platform that hosts these challenges. Check it out! P.S. Check out my Twitter at /MadeByCrevans, I'm sharing these cool breakdowns of the daily challenges, kind of like a blueprint.

Who hunted Markdown?

Markdown was hunted by Chris Evans. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
