Developer Tool Box
Free browser-based utilities for everyday dev tasks
Developer Tool Box is a free, growing collection of browser-based utilities for developers — JSON formatting, Base64 encoding/decoding, UUID generation, URL encoding, and SHA-256 hashing, with more tools shipping regularly. No account, no server uploads for local tools, permanent URLs per tool, and clear labeling of what runs locally vs. server-side.
Hey Product Hunt 👋
As a developer I was tired of bookmarking five different random sites just for JSON formatting, Base64 encoding, UUID generation, and hashing — each with different UX, ads, and unclear privacy practices.
Developer Tool Box brings these into one place: JSON Formatter, Base64 Converter, UUID Generator, URL Encoder, and Hash Text so far, all running locally in the browser with no account needed. Every tool has a permanent URL, and I'm shipping new ones regularly (converter, web, crypto, and network categories are already live or in progress).
It's open source (GPL-3.0) and part of the same free-tools family as EasyPDFNex, Easy Calculator Nex, and Easy Converter, built under Nexora Creation.
This is still early — would love feedback on what dev utility you reach for most that deserves a spot here.
