DeskyPaw
A tiny 3D pet that lives on your mac or windows desktop
DeskyPaw puts a fully animated 3D pet on your Mac desktop or Windows desktop. 16 pets, a built-in focus timer (your pet naps while you work and barks at break time), no account, no tracking. Free 7-day trial, then a one-time purchase.
Hi Product Hunt, I'm Jithinkumar, the maker of DeskyPaw.
I wanted a desktop companion that looks like a real little animal instead of a flat sprite, so each pet is a proper 3D model that walks along the bottom of your screen, wags, hops, barks (cats meow) and will clean your screen if you ask.
What is in it: - 16 pets: 11 dogs, 4 cats and a red panda - A focus timer: the pet naps while you work and barks when it is break time - No account, no tracking, works offline once activated - Free 7-day trial inside the app. After that it is a one-time purchase, no subscription, and one license works on 2 of your Macs or Windows - Apple silicon Macs, macOS 13 or later and Windows
It is signed and notarized by Apple, and the download page shows a SHA-256 checksum if you like to verify files.
I would love to hear which pet you want next, and anything that annoys you about desktop pets in general. I'll be around all day to answer questions.
