Hey Product Hunt 👋
I’m Martin, a student developer, and I built Desktop Web Widget as a small Windows app for turning web pages into floating desktop widgets.
I originally made it for myself because I wanted a simple way to keep useful pages visible while working — things like dashboards, timers, notes, music players, embeds, and monitoring pages.
The app currently supports:
• multiple floating widgets
• edit mode for moving and resizing
• snapping guides
• opacity control
• click-through mode
• widget titles
• saved layouts
• tray controls
• import/export layout
This is an early paid version, and I’m mainly looking for early users who can test it and tell me what should be improved.
I’d love feedback on:
1. Would you use a tool like this?
2. What kind of web widgets would you keep on your desktop?
3. What feature would make it more useful?
Thanks for checking it out 🚀
